Position Summary

We are seeking a Vulnerability Management Responder Lead to take charge of our vulnerability management team and drive a proactive approach to security across the organization. You will guide your team in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities across various environments, including workstations, networks, servers, and cloud-native infrastructure. Having a track record of proactively managing vulnerabilities within the enterprise, working with threat hunting, engineering, and operational teams to mitigate risks. 

 

The individual will be highly organized and be able to communicate to both technical and non-technical teams and managements, providing regular metrics to give leaders visibility of vulnerability risks. 

Responsibilities

  • An in-depth understanding of what security vulnerabilities are, how they are categorized, how they can be remediated, and what risks they pose is essential
  • The ability to be able to prioritize the remediation of vulnerabilities based on threat intelligence and business context is essential. 
  • You will be highly competent in producing meaningful reports and communicating with relevant stakeholders. 
  • Experience of working with  Azure, AWS and reputable SAST, SCA, and CSPM tools is highly desirable. 
  • A high degree of understanding in patch management and security configuration management is required. 
  • Experience of performing and/or managing penetration testing is advantageous. 
  • Maintain tools used to perform the ongoing assessments. 

Requirements

  • Cybersecurity certifications  desirable. 
  • Must complete continuing education requirements as outlined by Crawford Educational Services.

  • Ability to conduct technical evaluations of security solutions and products
  • Highly seasoned in organizational, time management, decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills
